Northern Roof Tiles was originally founded to source new clay roof tiles from Europe for American projects. But we also needed to solve a common but frustrating problem—finding a matching roof tile. We’ve built an inventory and a vast network of reclaimed tile sources, but what sets us apart is our ability to identify almost any clay roof tile from a photo. Then, we either supply it from our stock or go find it for you.

Who We Are
Northern is a family-owned importer of clay roofing tiles primarily from Europe. Stuart founded the business in 1991, so this year we celebrate our 34th anniversary, making Northern Roof Tiles one of the oldest established importers of clay roof tiles in North America.

What We Do
From the beginning, our focus has been to provide an extensive selection of clay tiles in various profiles, shapes, sizes, colors, and textures.

But sometimes you don’t need an entirely new roof. We started selling reclaimed roof tiles as a way of preserving clay roofs, which can last for decades—if not hundreds of years. We think it would be a tragedy to replace a whole roof just because of a few missing pieces.
